People with history of angina (chest pain), ischemic bowel disease, heart disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart attack (stroke) should not take Maxalt. You should inform your doctor if you are allergic to rizatriptan.
The interval between doses should be 24 hours, and the same consider to other headache medicine that you use at the same time.
This medication is used only for the treatment of migraine attacks in adults when a clear diagnosis is established, and it should not be used to treat other headaches that caused by other more serious conditions. Ask your health care provider about the safe use of Maxalt, don’t start or stop any medicine usage without doctor (pharmacist) approval. The daily dosage should not be more that 30 mg.
